EUROPE:
France: Spring riding conditions in France. You must head high and stay on the north facing slopes if you want good snow conditions. Hard pack conditions in the morning followed by the snow softening in the afternoon. As a whole spring conditions are good. Higher resorts such as Val Thorens, Tignes and Val D'Isere are the best choice right now. Resorts in the Southern Alps are also experiencing some great skiing for this time of year, including Isola 2000, Pra Loup and Foux D'Allos.
Switzerland: Benefitting from some fresh snow last week, some Swiss resorts are offering fantastic spring skiing. The higher the resort the better the conditions, lower down means slushy snow and some bear patches on and off piste.
Austria: Spring riding conditions dominate across most of the Austrian resorts and some have already closed for the season. If you are looking for good snow then you must visit some of Austria's higher resorts.. Hintertux, Kaprun, Stubai and Solden. The SkiWelt region is now officially closed for the season.
Italy: Spring conditions across most Italian resorts after a mostly sunny and warm week. Excellent skiing can be found at most resorts, particularly in the Dolomites.
WESTERN USA:
Snow is expected for most of the week in Colorado and Wyoming... though no more than 20cm. Breckenridge is expected to have temperature of -6!
CANADA:
Excellent riding conditions in the Canadian resorts, thanks to the fresh snowfall over the weekend. Whistler will be fairly cold for this time of year and is expecting around 35cm of fresh snow this week!
NEW ZEALAND:
The ski season is on its way... Hold on!
